This theme can actually be for either a guy or girl any age, but it works the best for the age range of 15-21! Ask the people invited to 'dress like a rockstar' This theme could be either inside or out, just change up the decorations for it. My party was an 18th birthday party and was held outside. I purchased silver and black metalic stars and hung them up, along with Guitar shapped swizzle sticks i got from the local party store. It is strongly advised to let the guests know they could bring more comfortable clothes to change into if the party is going to last more than 2 hours, trust me, you'll be surprised at the outfits people come up with! I kept everything very low key, my main color theme was lime green, bubble gum pink, black, and silver- these colors together made a nice summery, outdoors looking party, but the combination also made the minor 'rock-n-roll' decorations i had stand out. Play rock music at this type of party, have a local band, or bring a TV and PS2 to the party and have a 'Guitar Hero' battle station.
